Cold Stone ...Last Nite

Did anyone go and get ice cream last nite in support for HS band?

 

I would have, had I known about it. :-(

 

yea me too! we are having cold stone today for the dr's birthday!!

 

I would have gone and bought a peanut butter playground cake for my family to enjoy. Never knew of the fund raiser. What a shame.

I would have loved to get my Choc Devotion but hubby came home too late

 

I sure didn't see it....bummer. I am always up for Coldstone....I mean, supporting the local schools. :-D

You have no idea....I was like GOOD GRIEF am I truly losing it? I am usually all over the 'help the school out' stuff like stink on a monkey.....

is there a quicker way to get to Discussion page without going to the home page.

 

probably not, but as soon as I click on 4042.com bookmark, the top row comes up before the entire page comes up (because of the Active X controlled stuff, flashing and all) so I immediately click on 'Discussion Group' before it even has time to load.

 

Bookmark the 4042 forums page - that's what I did.

 

I have always noticed that the homepage takes so long to download (and I have high speed access) that I get impatient and click on Dicussion Group...comes right up!

 

We went and the turnout looked great! I haven't been there in awhile so maybe it's always that busy but they had Mr. Britt and Mr. Griffin plus 4-5 regular employees working and they were all busy.

 

I thought about posting it here, but I was afraid I'd start another round of 'band bashing' :lol:

If you'd still like to support the band.....there is also a $2.00 raffle you can still get in on! The payoff's not as huge as the lottery, but 1st ticket drawn = $250.00, 2nd ticket = $150.00, and 3rd ticket = $50 in gas card from Shell station. Drawing will be held tonight, at the football game's halftime.

The cool thing about this raffle is that if we sell enough tickets (I think we need about 300 more) then we get a matching grant (up to a certain amount), so in essence, doubling our profit to buy needed instruments!

If you want tickets you'd have to go to the game tonight (at the HS at 7:30pm). If you don't want to go in for the game, the West parents table is near the gate, near the fence...could probable get some that way.

 

Hey now...I am proud to be a former band member. I learned so much in my four years of HS. Lots of great experiences and great feeling of Family away from our own family

 

I'm proud too! :-D I think the band is great!
