Do the Cleveland or 50/210 fire departments have a conference room they allow community groups to use for a meeting? I recall hearing that some time ago but might be thinking of some place else.

Also, is there any business or hotel in the 40/42 - McGees area that is open to a small community group a meeting at their location for little or no charge?

Figure it doesn't hurt to ask :)

I'll ask hubby tonight about 50/210. There is a fireman from Cleveland that posts on here that you could also ask. I can't think of his name at the moment.

Also, have you considered Golden Coral? Don't they have a meeting room. I know the one in Garner does.

Thanks for checking on that Michelle. I have thought of Golden Coral but know some folks don't have the extra funds to eat out so was trying to avoid that.

Some of the hotels might have small conference rooms. I know a church meets over at the Hampton Inn in one of the rooms.

I am not sure of costs but you can try these:
*Pleasant Grove Community Building (cinderblock bldg on 210 between Old Fairground and White Memorial) McGee's Area.
*Call the GCCC office (local chamber) or view their website for ideas
*Panther Branch Community Building (on 1010 between Hwy 50 & Jordan) Garner Area....near BP & Ken's Produce.

    If no luck...
*Some local business owners have conference rooms or warehouse space for rent but before I could make a referral, I would need to know budget, how big of an area needed (# of persons in attendance), how often (reg schedule times, day/night, etc) and type of function (big difference between the space needed for square dance lessons vs Bible study).

    Good Luck!!!
