My kid took a science test on Tuesday. Then he will take math and reading test next week. My question is there is another EOG science test today. Why another one? I was told it has something to do with acceleration. I don't know what's the heck this mean. SO, when are we be able to find out to see if our child passed EOG tests????

    5th grade EOG

Wait a minute, there is another 5th grade science EOG??? Where did you hear this?? My daughter is in the 5th grade and is clueless about this. We have begun counting down. Please tell me this is a rumor. PS I want to know how my child did on the science EOG and no ones talking. I have heard they are waiting to release the scores later next week so as not to discourage the children before the math and reading EOG, I really hate EOG time---too much stress for children:allears:

My 8th grader at Cleveland Middle had her Science EOG on Thursday. Maybe that's what you heard. I believe Elementary was on Tuesday and Middle was on Thursday.???

I have kids in Wake County, but the 5th grader had 3 test all together. (Reading, Math, and Science)
My 3rd grader only had 2 test (Math and Reading)
We got our results the following week.

I'm so proud of my boys! They get out of school on the 27th of this month!

The science EOG at our school was originally scheduled for Thursday the 14th but they changed it to Tuesday the 12th. I think the school calendar still had it under the 14th though. That may be why someone thought there were two science tests. Our school is Dixon Road Elem. They are not saying anything about the score there either. They can know but parents can't.

It was up to the schools as to when the exact day they gave the test. It just had to be sometime this week.

That's probably what it was: calendar date all mixed up. It's too bad that school did not communicate with parents enough, especially about the test score. Teachers knew firsthand, parent find out later. What a bummer.
