CLAYTON-- Cooper Elementary School will host its first Snow Ball, a family event, on Friday night, January 28 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Students have been helping to make decorations to decorate the gym and they have been learning to dance during PE classes. Mrs. Dalfors, PE teacher, has been teaching the children to shag, waltz, and line dance. "At my house, my 2nd grader has been teaching me the dance steps--up step step, back step step, rock step, girl turn..up step step, back step step, rock step, boy turn. Everyone is excited about the dance," said parent Michee Olson. Appropriate attire has been requested for this event. The PTA will be selling corsages and boutonnieres, coffee, desserts, and there will be an area set up for pictures.
