Could you SURVIVE? If a major natural or man-made disaster were to occur would you have the skills to protect and provide for yourself, your family, or your community? Disaster Studies Group is offering a Basic Disaster Survival class at Howell Woods Environmental Learning Center on July 26, 2008. The four hour class will be hands-on and cover water, food, shelter, fire, emergency backpacks, and disaster stress. A morning class will be from 8 am to 12 pm and an afternoon class will be from 1 pm to 5 pm. Cost is $30 Per person, $55 per couple, or $100 for family of four (ages 10 & up).
