COUNTY CHAMBERS ANNOUNCE 2004 FLAME FOR LEARNING AWARD SEMIFINALISTS The Johnston County Association of Chambers of Commerce has announced the twenty semifinalists for the 11th Annual Flame for Learning Award, the county's teacher of the year program. The association, representing the Chambers of Commerce in Benson, Clayton, Cleveland, Four Oaks, Kenly and Smithfield-Selma, sponsors the award each year. The semifinalists will be interviewed later this month and will be recognized at a banquet on April 26 at the Johnston County Country Club, where three finalists and the recipient will be named.
