When we experienced that bit of storm the other day the wind picked up and caused the patio umbrella to sway and tap the plastic insert that protects the glass table from cracking and cracked it in a couple pieces (guess it was brittle). What do you call these things? Where can you get them? They've got to make replacement pieces, no? Without it, I worry that if the umbrella takes any wind and sways just a bit, it may end up cracking the table. Thanks for any advice
Try here: http://store.paces3.com We had one a few years back that just dry rotted over time and we ordered from this company. I think they are called center rings and they are very inexpensive. We ordered two so we would have an extra on hand. HTH! Edited to add: Look under "patio furniture parts" then "plastic caps" and then "clear vinyl parts." There's a "table umbrella hole ring set" that I think is what you are looking for. That was what we got, anyway. They are $3.00. You can always call and ask to be sure.
Thank You SO MUCH!!!!! Hugs! Edited to add - Got my order in already! I'll be darned if I could come up with a name for them! This is why I love 4042.com - someone can always clear things up - no matter what crazy thing someone might need to know
