What can you tell me about Credit Recovery for Johnston County Schools? I have a nephew in Wayne county that was able to take 2 English classes on line in order to graduate. Is this available for JC Students (ex-SSS High School)? I have a grandson that needs the same.
Yes it is. talk to the DLA (Distance Learning Advisor) at the school for more info...or the counselor. There are 2 programs that I know of offered for credit recovery: MOODLE and NovaNet. There are certain criteria for each. I know one of them is to have passed the final or EOC exam in the subject the first time taking it. There is also another online avenue called NCVPS (North Carolina Virtual Public School). This is not a credit recovery program exactly but the courses are taken online. Hope this has helped!
