In Friday's Edition of the N&O they featured the Seven Wonders of the Triangle. One is Crook's Corner in Chapel Hill. shrimp & grits. If you Google Crook's Corner there are all kinds of rave reviews for this restaurant. Has anyone had dinner at this restaurant. If so, your opinion?

Best Shrimp & Grits I've ever eaten. And, that's an acquired thing for you folks that are from the Coastal wetlands of the South. Savannah restaurant at North Hills offers an excellent S&G, as does the Lucky 32 in Cary. There are several recipes online. I favor Paula Deen's from Savannah. My Grandmother, who turned 100 in May, made the bestest ever.

If you cook this yourself, remember that when you cook the srhimp, don't overcook them as they then taste like rubber erasers, or so I'm told..LOL. and, once placed in the hot grits, thye will continue to cook slightly

    Bon appetit!
