Hi. I am a teacher and have to go back to work next week. I feel weird asking my neighbors to watch my son for 8hrs a day. Anyone have ideas? Gia
There are all kinds of camps around here, interskate, the one up on 42 (drawing a blank!), that place that took over where up & away was I think is open now, their rates seemed high, but you could check them out. The Y also, not sure how full these places are at last minute though, I'd just try calling around.
The only thing with Screamin' Mimi's: they have a sign up saying it's not for full-time babysitting, they have a 20 hour maximum per week. I don't know if they stick to it, but they do have it posted at the entrance. If you could have someone watch him a couple days and use SM the other 3 days, maybe you could do that? Their sale going on right now is really good, if you buy multiple hours at once, it is definitely worth it! You have to buy them before the 18th I think...
I don't know what area you are looking in, but Kim's Kids is located near McGees Crossroads and has a summer day camp. I don't know anything about the summer camp, prices, etc. I just know it has a really good reputation. My dd is attending preschool there this fall. I really like the facilities and Kim is such a warm, friendly person. You can tell she really loves kids! http://kimskidschildcare.com
My daughter has been going to Cleveland Child Care for the summer and enjoyed it. She is 7 yo. This is our last week so they may have an opening in her room for next week.
