Anyone ever go to this in Spencer? Does it normally sell out or does anyone know how it works? Thanks. His uncle told him he was going to take him to the train ride in Chapel Hill, but he never got tickets and it is sold out this month. My 4 year old who loves trains has been talking about it for 2 days. I think I am going to have a very dissapointed little boy if I don't find an alternative.
have not done the one in Spenser but we did the one at Tweetsie and yes they usually sell out, I would recommend getting tickets as soon as you can, just to be sure you get what you want!!! Have fun...
we went 6 years ago when ours was 3. order tickets ahead of time. it was a great time. if they love Thomas, this is a great day. we went down the night before to a hotel, as we had 10 am tickets. we then went to the great smoky mountain railroad in dillsboro the next day. which was also great. it was a fun train weekend. good even up to 6 or so with thomas.
