Moving to the area in June. Can anyone tell me what the going rate is for daycare in the Clayton area? I have a 2 yr old and 4 yr old. THanks for future responses.
Sorry, I don't know, but highly recommend Lipscomp's Family Daycare. Know the family, and they are wonderful. Girl I work with had a daughter that went there and she was extremely pleased. check them out: http://ncchildcaresearch.dhhs.state.nc.us/Main_Info.asp?Facility_ID=5155104
I pay $118 a week for my four year old. I think that's a little on the low side because it's outside of Clayton, but that might give you an idea. I would think $125-$150 a week is what you'll pay at most places in Clayton. By the way, we are very satisfied with our day care (Leap and Grow).
Little Stepping Stones either location. Do not know the rates but they are great. Had to change when we moved. Ms. Tina at the Cleveland School Rd. location is the best
Toddler's Inn on Hwy 70 is the best! I was thrilled with all of the teachers during the time my children spent there. Back then, part of the cost depended on whether or not the youngest child is potty trained.
I second Toddlers Inn. MY son has been there almost 2 years. He just turned 3, is not fully potty trained yet and his rate is $158/wk. He is just thriving there. I can't say enough good things about the teachers and staff.
THanks for all the replies. We should be up there the end of June. I cant wait. Seems like a great place to live.
