What is a good daycare in the Cleveland area? Before and after at the new school is full and I need this starting Monday.
If your looking for just before and after school care, I would call Kids Club at 550-3262 and ask for Mark or Lisa.
I am looking for not only before and after school care but also care for when school is out for breaks, teacher work days and such.
Have you tried the Second Step, which is part of Little Stepping Stones? They have a program on Cleveland School Rd (new/2nd location) or the original/1st location behind Food Lion shopping center at 40/42. You can call 779-3800 to see if they have room at either Second Step location. Good Luck!
Cleveland's Creative Kids has some openings. they offer before/after school and are opened on school holidays.
I would recommend Second Step either locations. We really loved it there. The only reason we left was because we moved but we still go back for visits. The staff is wonderful. Good luck.
Kim's Kids is great !!!!! It is a before and after school program. She is open on teacher work days. the center is located on Sanders rd. her # is 934-1833. She is so nice and great with all the kids and her staff is also great. Kim's Kids pick up at all the school. Good luck and give her a call.
Great Daycare Highly recommend Open Arms Child Development. They are on 42 at Holy Cross Lutheran. They are just wonderful and have an awesome before and after school program as well as teacher workdays and holidays and then during the summer run a summer camp. Tara is the director and she is very wonderful and knowledgeable.
Sluggers is opening an after school program on the 18th . I am registering my son. They are going to offer a traditional style daycare and a sports oriented environment also. Lots of new things that the kids can do. Will also have summer camp next year and this year will have days that kids aren't in school, too ! If youre kids go to Polenta, Cleveland or Westview, I would recommend checking it out! My kids love it up there. Call Denton. Dont have the #, but look at their website. www.sluggersonline.com
I'm only replying to this post for clarification purposes. If anyone feels that I am advertising or promoting my after school program, please call me and we'll discuss it. Anyway, starting on the 25th (pushed it back a week), Sluggers is starting an after school program for the active, sports loving kids in our community. We noticed a need for an after school program that allowed kids to be active in the afternoon and to learn a new sport or three. Homework will come first, of course, but with the incentive that, upon completion, the kids will get to go hit in the batting cage, play basketball, volleyball, flag football, soccer, golf, frisbee golf, horseshoes, darts, ping pong, foosball, and any other sport we can think of.
