That is horrible. I wonder why the mother wasn't injured? Maybe she was the only one wearing a seat belt? I just say this because my close friends were driving home one night 3 years ago 2 adults, 4 children and they were all in their seat belts and a mini van ran a stop light and tboned them. One of the children in the mini van was not wearing seat belts and that one is brain dead living on life support and the other child walked away with no injuries. It is so sad, I don't know how I could live with myself if my children were not buckled up and something happened to them. It would be hard enough if they were buckled up and something happened, but having to live with what if? So sad!
