Does anyone know of a place where I will be able to buy the tiny rubber bands for dental work? My 8 yo did not tell me he was almost out of bands until...last night! (He keeps them in his bookbag so he always has them for school, and he has always let me know when the bag is half empty until this time.) The dentist is closed until Jan. 2, and these are bands he needs 24/7 or he risks needed surgery to move his back teeth. Any ideas, anyone?
no idea.. they come in different sizes dont they?? I recall wearing teeny tiny ones that hurt like heck! Maybe call around tomorrow and look for a dentist/orthodontist that is open and see if they can help you out in a pinch.
We have some extra 1/8th and 3/16th but they are a few years old, they are in the bag from the orthdontist, if you can use them let me know.
Thank you. He needs the 5/16 bands. This last bag seems to have popped very easily so he went through them rather quickly.
*chuckle* I thought there was a new band in town comprised of Dentists. Too bad Dr. Teeth has already been used!
I remember seeing it at Walmart. It's in toothpaste/toothbrush section where dental floss and stuff are. I've seen all different color in one packet. You might want to check there.
