After many years of a cyst being misdiagnosed as "just being a cyst - nothing to worry about" I have been diagnosed with Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP). A very rare type of cancer. Just curious if there's anybody in this area that has this or knows anyone that has. I was my doctors second case in the past 18 years. The reason I'm asking is - - there are no "specialist" since it's rare.....so wondering what doctor anyone in this area has been to for it. My surgeon has been GREAT,,,,,just trying to find more info. I have been to Duke Cancer Center but there's no "specialist" there either.
