On December 7, 2011, around 6:00 p.m., I was driving down I-40 E right around Gorman Street. Traffic was slowed due to an accident up ahead. I was in the middle lane and a Fleetmaster Express, Inc. tractor trailer was in the left lane. A police car and a tow truck were coming up on the berm. The truck manouvered into my lane in an attempt to get over and hit me. Someone who witnessed the accident called the police but no one stopped to give a statement. The driver told the officer that arrived on the scene that someone had flashed their lights at him and he thought it was safe to get over. He is claiming to the insurance company that I pulled into the center lane the same time he did and his insurance company is refusing to handle my claim. I do not feel that I should have to shell out one penny of a deductible to my insurance company for this driver's negligence. Any help finding a witness to this accident is greatly appreciated.
