Does anyone have a good diet idea that won't leave me feeling hungry? I've heard all this stuff on TV about Slim Quik and still here about Trim Spa. I know that excercise ise the main key but is there any other helpers out there that are safe and effective?

    Eat smaller meals, more often.

The "more often" does not include "junk food".

I cannot say enough about NutriSystem. I was a big non-believer. That was 32 pounds ago! I started Jan. 5th. I'm 18 pounds from my goal! It REALLY does work!

Close your mouth when you bend your elbow!

We used to have a family physician in Clayton named Percy Yates. Made house calls in the middle of the night, etc. He used to tell my dad that if he wanted to lose weight he needed to "close his mouth when he bent his elbow".
Weight Watchers is a great diet.

Eating several times a day (every 3-4 hrs) is a good suggestion. Make most of your food choices high in fiber as it takes longer to digest and will keep you feeling full for a longer period of time. Search the internet for health and fitness sites.

My 25 year class reunion is coming in August and I want to look good. I'd like to lose about 45 pounds. I did lose alot of weight about 3 years ago walking and getting off soda. But then we moved and the only place to walk is on the main road which is dangerous or the school track or field. i got spooked one time doing that. I like to walk in the evening when all is done and I can get PEACE and QUIET. Now I have no where to walk and no one to walk with......:-(

There are parks all over the place.

You can also walk at most of the schools in the area. Don't know where you live but I see people walking at the West HS and at West View Elem.

I live in the McGees Crossroads area. I tried the elem school track, but got spooked. The middle school field is dark. Where is a park near there that is safe and not along ways away?

six smaller meals a day, Weight Watchers, and exercise.

There's no real secret to it but the discipline. I've lost 50 lbs since September, have a LOT more to go. If you need accountability, go to WW. If you don't, sign up online (no meetings). It teaches you how to eat properly.

Exercise every day, even if it's only 15 minutes 3x a day. You'll be surprised how it will improve your outlook on life as well as your waistline.

    Good luck!

People don't realize exactly how much this little amount can actually do for you. Heck, just adding a 15 minute routine into the morning before work will do a great deal on it's own.

You can come to my house and walk my subdivision with me (not far from McGee's.) I need to get out and walk too, but without someone to walk with, I lose my motivation very fast. My dog loves walking with me - but he wants to pee too much and isn't very good at conversation. ;)

Thanks all!!! Yes I would like very much to have someone to do it with. My husband wouldn't worry as much either......Oh yes, all the dogs want to do is pee and heaven forbid they have to go poo poo. My luck would have me stepping right in it on the way back through......LOL Mine are Rottys so they walk ME.........

You can always choose the liquid diet. Works for me now and then when I can't decide on what to eat I drink a fews beers to ponder what to have for supper and soon I don't want supper.
