Sorry about your sign... probably just teens out with nothing better to do.

...So you (Gracie) are Kim? All of the recommendations pushing Kim's Kids make sense now.

    sign damage

sorry for your damage. my mailbox got smashed two weeks ago. thats what happens when you have a town thats not a town. nothing for teens to do. my daughter told me a couple months ago her friends mom takes them out to smash mailboxes for fun. how sick is that. i work for a town that has teen activities and band night for high schoolers take your kids to cary band night they serve chocolate and sodas and play music for middle schoolers once a month.

Smith road seems to be a mailbox baseball alley. Seems like most of the mailboxes are taped to their posts.

    Sorry about your sign.

You didn't feel any responsibility to report that to the police?

Sorry hon. Used to live out that way and knew some of the teens that did it. One trip to their house, with the threat of cops due to destruction of private property, and they quit.

Hope you figure out which crew was up to no good.

yep mine has been done now 3 times this yr, and the last time I didn't fix it. I just put a cord around it to hold it on. A few times the mailman said to fix it and I just rig it up to get by.

I think screwing with a mailbox at all is a federal offense. When our mail lady screws up (which she does often) I just stick the neighbor's mail in their box. DH freaks! But it's not like out neighbor's are strangers...

Been a long time since this happened to us, back in our old neighborhood in Clayton, wasn't teens as everyone thought it to be, young adults ages 19-22yrs. old of some kinda sorry trash that got drunk and told the police they had nothing better to do after getting kicked out of one of the local bars, think it was the clayton clubhouse when it was across from the high school, behind the mexican restaurant. I know historically it's teenagers but that wasn't the case that time. Probably did it when they were teenagers as well, jerks.

You don't see bricks used that way very often. I wonder if that is significant?
