Need input on the best high traffic area carpet cleaner that you can purchase at stores. I had my carpet professionally cleaned this fall, but with teenagers, the high traffic area's all ready look terrible. Even with the "remove the shoes" rule.
Thanks in advance for the help.

I'd call Clayton ServPro and have them do the job. They did ours and they look brand new. Easier than my having to put up with it, and we know the job is done right. Having done ours before, there is no comparison. 359-2599...

I could never get all the moisture out and feel like it was still in the carpet pad....

A friend recommended dry cleaning the carpets... anyone have views on that?

I use a shop vac. For soap I mix a little bit of Wisk with some hot water. Works like a charm.

I got my entire house done with Stanley Steemer for $260. I think it may be better to hire someone rather than doing it yourself. They always have specials.
