Last week, along with a group of people from work, my family and I visited the Boys and Girls club of Johnston County. We're heading back down there on Tuesday of next week. One of the things we noticed was their lack of available sports equipment. During a softball scrimmage game, 20 or so kids were sharing 3 helmets and 3 or 4 bats. My DD thought it would be a great idea if we could somehow bless the B&G's club with an offering of sports equipment. I know it's very short notice, but if you have an extra minute this week, would you check in your garage and attic and see if there is any old sports equipment that you might consider donating to a worthy local cause? I'd be glad to meet you at 42 anytime this week or weekend to pick it up. Thanks!
