I have an old business card from Dock Point.
Anyone have any comments on them?
Is this a "one person" company? Do you recommend them?
    Thank you

I had them back in the day when I had dial up. I don't remember liking or disliking them, but I would assume they've upgraded their services since 2000.

They came out to my house to do a survey, said I couldn't get it, even though we could see their tower from my roof. I wasn't impressed with the guy they sent, threw cigarette butts all over my yard.

    No, should have though...

You have to give them a credit card number before they even come out, I had a heck of a time getting them to let go of it... kinda like trying to cancel AOL...

I wish Clearwire was out here... I hate having to use TWC.... and Sprint/Embarq is out of the question...

I like TWC a whole lot better than I did Dockpoint. I had a lot of intermittency problems with that, they came out a couple of times and did something but it just kept getting worse. They said something about trees growing.

Any service that relies on wireless is going to be sketchier than hard-wired internet.

I've gotten a cable from them and they were really nice and gave me some hints on fixing a wireless networking problem. I even considered applying for a job there.

    my review was on http://www.yelp.com
