They need to put a light or 4-way stop or something up at the intersection of Cleveland and McLemore?! What a pain it is during rush hour to turn onto Cleveland School...
just my 2 cents.. I'm bored and thought I would get an opinion on this. And yes I know there are probably already too many lights in Clayton!!

Are you talking about where the big white house is, the T-intersection?

There is supposed to be a stoplight put there - but who knows when? Heard about it last yr and it has yet to be done....:?

Please, not a 4-way stop! I hate those things. The one at Cornwallis & Josephine is an accident waiting to happen.

Yes, that is the intersection I'm speaking of..and by the way, I LOVE THAT WHITE HOUSE! If the people who lived there ever sold it I'd work 5 jobs to try to afford it! The gazebo, and barn is so cute!!

Yes I know...but I think the problem is people don't usually wait their turn. They just get there and do a "rolling stop." Which is so annoying! Yes, a stoplight would be a better option!

I totally agree, that's why I rarely go that way---not only at rush hour but sometimes on the weekends it's crazy too.

Yep! That's how I got rear-ended there a few yrs ago - the fella behind me expected me to 'roll' thru and when I actually stopped - he hit me :boxing: thats alright - didn't really do any damage, but I got a settlement out of him anyway and he got a ticket....

(I was talking about the Cleve rd and Mclemore intersection)

They definitely do need to put a light there. It is so busy!

What about a roundabout instead? There is sufficient room there and it would help with the flow of the road near McLemore.

Rotarys are wonderful once everyone understands the basic concept that traffic in the rotary has the right of way. It does still amaze me that traffic in the rotary will stop over at White Oak Shopping Center though... I guess some things southerners just weren't meant to grasp. Heck, I even saw someone go around it the wrong direction one day... I was just in awe at the stupidity.

Hey now! Don't be cracking on us southerners! It had to be a yankee that came up with that crazy traffic pattern to begin with!:jester:

Lovely way to join the group, you people is the term for those who are not from here or from those who think they are better than the people who live where they dreamed of living - when in Rome, ya know, or is that too much for your brain to comprehend???
