Sounds like on of Lettermans Top Tens... Signs that your dog is Native American.

    The dingo took my baby!!!

It looks like a wolf hybrid. Probably thought the baby was a crying pup. Instincts kicked in.

That would be one dead dog ... I don't care what reasoning is conjured up.

I was thinking the same thing! I don't blame it on the parents but I do know that dog would not go back to my house.

I do blame the parents. The dog obviously has close wolf bloodlines, and those dogs are notoriously less domesticated than the average dog. Why would you have that anywhere near a newborn?

the idea of the dog being wolf mixed came from the behavior - could not see the pic, guess i must have been close, huh? The breeding of wild wolves, IMO, is not good for any family - while you may breed with a domesticated dog, the true nature of the wolf can always come through.

He is beautiful. He does look like he's got some wolf in him. It's not the dog's fault, but he'll probably die for it and the parents will be free to go on making irresponsible decisions.

With the excpetion that my next door neighbor's dog has slightly shorter fur around the head area and has a little darker coloration as well, it looks like my neighbor's dog which is a husky.

If the dog did have wolf in it there is a good chance the parents had no idea for this reason...and I don't know dog behavior all that well but isn't it possible that a dog with no wolf in it could have acted in such a way?

yeah i am sure, i just thought the wolf part due to a documentary i saw years ago about KY having quite a few of the hybrids breeders.
