I don't normally post on here (I'm a lurker), but thought I would share....Check out the site: www.donorschoose.com I heard about it on NPR, and thought I would check it out. Basically, local teachers can post projects they need materials for, and anyone can help fund them. I searched projects in Johnston County and came up with quite a few. What's really nice is you can donate as much as you are able to $1 - thousands. There have been so many cuts all the way down to our kids field trips, so I was pleased to see such a program that puts some funds back into our kids' classrooms. Eve
