SENIOR DRESS CODE Many "Older Folks" (those over 50, WAY over 50, or hovering near 50) are quite confused about how they should present themselves. They are unsure about the kind of image they are projecting and whether or not they are correct as they try to Conform to current fashions. Despite what you may have seen on the streets, the following combinations DO NOT go together And should be avoided: 1. A nose ring and bifocals 2. Spiked hair and bald spots 3. A pierced tongue and dentures 4. Miniskirts and support hose 5. Ankle bracelets and corn pads 6. Speedo's and cellulite 7. A belly button ring and a gall bladder surgery scar 8. Unbuttoned disco shirts and a heart monitor 9. Midriff shirts and a midriff bulge 10. Bikinis and liver spots 11. Short shorts and varicose veins 12. Inline skates and a walker And last, but not least ... 13. Thongs and Depends Enough said!
I'm in late 30's and my Dad, who is 82, was upset about me wearing two-pieces swimming bikini on TV two years ago. He eventually sent me a religious booklet about dress code and purity. I rolled my eyes when I received the booklet, but I didn't say anything to my Dad because, to me, it's a not big issue to make a deal out of it. I just let it go and do my own thing.
   I gotta send this one to my Mom, a retired nurse. She'll love it! Thanks for the laughs, Snuff
