The business directory is a good thing on the 4042 page, that is if you know the name of the business you are looking for. But when you need to know the names of specific businesses up at the 4042, the directory is of no help. I typed in the word Dry Cleaners, Dry Cleaning, etc. and it cannot find anything for me, but I do know their are dry cleaners up there but I do not know the name. I guess I will have to drive around up there to find one.
Cleaners Mikes Cleaners is over by the old SECU - turn down the road beside Burger King. I have used them a bunch for shirts and a comforter and they are good. There is also one behind McDonalds. I have used them for alterations and they did a good job also.
Mike's Cleaners is horrible. They ruined my $400+ comforter and then wouldn't replace it. I wouldn't let them clean dog poop off the bottom of my shoes.
I've heard nothing but bad things about Mike's so I've never used them myself, but I don't know of another dry cleaners in this area now.
Don't use that place on 70 in the Walmart shopping center either, best priced cleaners. They ruined a pair of my pants and a couple of my husbands shirts, crappy job pressing them to. Unfortunatly, the only two cleaners I have good experience with are on 70, one behind burger king and the other in the old Winn Dixie shopping center. The both do excellent work.
Mike's is the best place I've found. I only use Mike's. Been customers for years and have always received good service and value. They've been quick to do special orders for those crunch times I've needed. Only dry cleaner I've ever needed in the area.
Dry Cleaners The dry cleaners behind Mcdonalds and (beside the dentist) is Quality Cleaners. The man and woman that run it have been in business for several years. They have always been very good and they are nice people.thanks,Macy
I have just discovered them and we are VERY SATISFIED with them. I couldn't find a dry cleaners and needed some clothes cleaned in a jiffy and they went above and beyond and where able to met my needs.
Thank You all for the info and input. I went to quality yesterday. Will stay away from Mike's. Never needed a dry cleaner so I never knew there was a thread on Dry Cleaners already. Thanks again.
there was a very good and really reasonable ( the cheapest) dry cleaner on 70 in the same building like mirante mi hair saloon, but, sadly they closed down. now we are looking for another good and cheap, we found the one in the old win dixie, he is a bit more expensive, but good, and then i tried the one on 70 behind pizza hut, in the food lion building, he is nearly double the prize.... crazy the price diffrences... for the same same job..
