Duke TIPS Program?

    Any parents have opinions on the Duke University TIPS Program?

    I'm researching TIPS for our child (a former AIG Student). Anyone have first hand knowledge?

    We have not been in a position to take advantage of their online programs or summer camps, but have friends that have and thought that the summer experience was worth the fee. Our family has not been in the financial position to do so. I think some of the online learning opportunities look interesting, but my son has not been interested.

    Interestingly, my "GT" language arts teacher from junior high is one of the Directors and an adjunct instructor. She was one of the most phenomenal teachers I have ever had.

    We don't use it like we should, but they do get opportunities to take the SAT earlier etc... so we like it for that.
