Anyone know what time elementary gets out today? I know it's early release day, but my son has been out sick all week, so I haven't received any notes home. I'm guessing 1:20, does that sound right?
I'm so dumb, my principle called a couple nights ago and I though it was just to remind me to bring a note for my son who was absent, so I ignored it. I forgot there was early release this week, so I'm sure it would have been on that call.
LOL....girl we can't be expected to remember every little thing...I am sure thats what the call was about....I also got a flyer in their Friday Folder, last week. I still need all reminders.
I use the calendar that they get at the start of school and I keep it on my frig, that way I don't miss anything. sheri
Strong line of storms, in Tennessee right now about Chattanooga/Knoxville (9am), has already killed many people with very large outbreak of tornadoes. Our weather people are predicting severe and possibly damaging weather late this afternoon, and very windy conditions. Make sure your kids have a safe place to be and a ride home if the weather turns before you can be home with them, and keep an ear to the weather reports today.
My calendar doesn't have times listed for early release day though, does yours? I knew it was early today, just wondering the times. I did ask the carpool lady this morning, she said 1:25. (west view)

Just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind, I went back and looked at the calendar again...the time isn't on it, and it's not on my teacher's webpage or the schools webpage (calendar) either. It wasn't on the school's sign out front today either. They should post that better. Our class's weekly folder comes home Tuesdays, and I'm sure it was in there, but he didn't go yesterday. I didn't know about the storms coming this way either, but I did hear about the terrible tornados and was wondering if we were getting any of it. I hope it's ok tonight...Anyone know what time it's supposed to start here?

Oh yea - they announced it a good while ago. All those ladies are having babies lately. I even wondered about Julia Lewis (a reporter) - not sure if it was what she was wearing (those new styles look like maternity shirts) or if she is too!
