My baby boy is truly in need of prayers... He was officially diagnoased with Lymphoma yesterday after several tests. he also received his first round of Chemo. He did fine for several hours afterwards, but then got terribly sick. He couldn't even hold down his water. I am pleased to report that this morning he is acting much better. He has had a little water and even a little chicken and rice (he picked the chicken out). He was even after his sister (Lisa-Marie, the black lab)this morning, trying to bug her. She has not left his side! Anyway, please pray for him...he receives his next treatment this coming Monday.
Poor Elvis. I am glad to hear he is feeling better this morning. I hope the next round is better for him. Sorry you are going through this!!
Thanks to all of you. My neighbor is with him all day today and I just called to check in. He has been sleeping since I left...he went and got in our bed and his sister followed. Poor guy...we haven't had sleep in about 4 nights, so I'm sure he is tired (I am). Things are going to change for the positive for him!

Aw, poor Elvis!! Hang in there ... he'll pull thru!! My "family" and I will all be thinking of you and sending prayers, tail wags, wiggle butts, canine kisses, and even a meow or two!! The chemo is hard on dogs, like humans, so expect some sickness associated with it ... make sure to give him plenty of rest and TONS of TLC!!!!!

He crashed yesterday. We had to rush his to the hospital for fluids and treatment. The chemo is working "too well". It attacked the cancer and released the cancer toxins into his system. He is still not out of danger, but he seems to feel a little better today. He did eat a piece of beef bologna last night as well as a couple of bites of chicken. We got up at 2 am and he had another piece. Today, he ate chicken/rice/bologna for breakfast and licked the bowl! He has also had some treats and such throughout the morning. I am doing small portions at a time. Dr. said we may notice a change today, but over the next few days he should feel the best he's felt in a while. DH and I have told him that when he is feeling up to it, we are having steak and eggs for dinner, then going to PetSmart to get whatever he wants. I have prayed all night and God has been answering those prayers. So, I say a prayer of thanksgiving and pray some more. Thanks to all of you for your prayers. Please keep them coming. I'm going back to lay with my baby now...
Didn't want to bother you by phone, figure you and the little guy are both trying to get some rest. How is Elvis doing this morning? Did he eat? Remember, even though you are stressed, think positive thoughts, keep up the laughter in your home, it's what Elvis is used to and it IS often the best medicine. If he feels lightness in your heart, it will help him pull through much easier - as sensitive as Elvis is, he picks up on everything. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Little Elvis is getting better. He is just soooo sleepy! He stole a chip that I dropped on the kitchen floor while cooking...thats my ole' Elvis! He also sat in the kitchen the whole time I cooked with bright eyes. I asked the doc about the sleepiness and he said the meds would do it. Of course, when I don't feel well thats what I want to do too! Hopefully the worst is behind us and we have a road to feeling good ahead. Keep praying, all...its working!
Sounds great!! Please keep us informed of his progress .. .I love hearing the small details - stealing the chip, the bright eyes ... brings a smile to my face and happy tears to my eyes. Will continue to pray for your family!! *hugs*
