Embarq I use Embarq and haven't noticed any problems with the internet in the last 2 days. I hope that helps narrow down the problem.
Working fine here in Clayton. We never have any problems with it. Last time it was down was Dec 27th. I have program that monitors it.
My house must just be haunted. Our internet drops at least 5 times a day but this time it's been off since yesterday morning. I've called Embarq but they are no help. Hence the reason we're going back to roadrunner!
Roadrunner should work well for you. I have that as well, and it works great for the most part, though I am up late at night and they seem to do maint. a lot so that causes a bit of a problem. I will say when I have problems with Roadrunner they get someone out to the house rather fast. Never had problems with embarq, but from what I heard it takes a few days. Did you get digital phone as well? Would like to know how that works never made the switch to digital phone because I want to make sure I have a phone line that always works for our alarm.
No, I passed on the digital phone. I've never known anyone that had digital that worked worth a toot. Most of the there is a great deal of static on the line.
