He is about 1- 2 years old. He is part Jack Russel, part Shih Tzu, and part who knows what else. He is brown. He is about 10 pounds. He is short legged, long bodied, and has short-mid length hair. You are welcome to come meet him, but I do not have any digital pictures of him to upload. He does have some issues you need to be aware of. He was crated as a puppy until we got him at about 6 months to one years old. He is very smart, so he could probably be re-trained to this if needed. He is currently an outside dog with limited inside privileges, but he is not fully housebroken. He has bunches of energy, and barks alot when outside. He has adapted very well to our family, but he does not care for any strangers, and has bitten at some of our friends. He does fine with other dogs after he gets used to them. He is not current on his shots, and he has not been neutered. We are asking a $150 re-homing fee, but the entire amount will be returned to you if he sees a veterinarian of your choice immediately for a physical, deworming, rabies, distemper, and heartworm prevention. Johnston Animal Hospital in Smithfield has quoted the $150 for those services. So basicly he is a free dog, but he must go to the vet. Email if interested with a little about your home and family. I will reply to all responses, and first appropriate home will be selected. Thanks.
Doesn't sound like a breed mix that should be out all day - wonder why it barks? Duh! The people it bit were probably not any smarter than the person who wrote the ad and probably were looking to get bit. Freaking idiot people! :banghead: I don't even want to address the rest of it. Oh and the not up tyo date on shot means it very likely isn't UTD on heartworm preventative. . .outside all day. . .probably is HW +
So they want the potential adopter to fork out $150++ to take their dog to the vet because they were too lazy to do it? That is some kind of klassy. Sounds like the dog's going to be a fun project too ... not housebroken, no manners/training, might be aggressive in addition to health issues. Yee haw. Sign me up.
