DOT: Expect Delays Friday On Barber Mill Road - The Department of Transportation will periodically close Barber Mill Road in Johnston County, between Jack Road and Amelia Church Road, in increments of 15 to 30 minutes from 8am until 5pm on Friday, weather permitting. Motorists traveling on Barber Mill Road should expect delays during the periodic closures and are encouraged to use an alternate route if possible. Local traffic may consider using N.C. 42 as an alternate route. The closure is necessary to set girders for future bridges as part of the construction of the US 70 Clayton Bypass.
