Anyone know of a nice (and near) fabric store? Or the name of the fabric place in Angier?
    Thanks.

There's a nice quilt shop in Selma, Whistle Stop Quilt Shop. They have a huge variety of fabrics & supplies for quilting, mostly 100% cotton fabrics. It's on Anderson St., near the courthouse.

Thanks Ken. FYI, Michael's does not sell fabric but the gal there also suggested Walmart.

Joy, indeed. Wish they had a Joann's at White Oak.
If you're into quilting, the Whistle Stop is well worth the trip to Selma, but if you're looking for fabric for almost any other purpose, probably not.

Funny story -- I asked a young associate in Wal-Mart if they had a yard goods dept. She gave me a puzzled look, then brightened up and said, "Oh, yes, right this way." Then she cheerfully led me to the garden dept.

And if you go to wally world on 70 in clayton, the fabric dept is in the back and ask for a woman by the name of Susan Davis. She is pretty good and knowledgeble. She works there part time nights and weekends. Tell her Bob sent you.
