We are going to do face painting (very simple designs) at our Relay for Life booth next month and I need to know where to find the supplies. I checked Michaels online and they only have one book. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks!
I went to Party City online and they have stuff - so I'd check the store, and Michael's too, might have stuff in store vs online. Also check Oriental Trading? Honestly - I've done some before and I just used basic acrylic/craft type (water soluable) paints and they worked fine too! Sometimes face paint can be thick and hard to work with. Just a suggestion, if you're going to have a 'set' of designs for them to choose from - I would paint sample designs on a display board. That way they can pick what they want. Also in the acrylic paint section they have clear glitter paint that can be painted over other colors, the girls usually like a little sparkle!
Hey, Michelle. I know you're as cheap...I mean frugal as I am! LOL Look at these links... http://www.ehow.com/how_5105222_make-cheap-face-paint.html http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Your-Own-Face-Paint http://www.diylife.com/2008/04/02/how-to-face-paint/ This one is a product search result from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=face+paint&x=0&y=0
Here is another link I found with some suggestions, and a place to order supplies and a basic book from. http://www.easyfacepainting.com/supplies.html
If you want the good kind that stays on well and shows up well also then I would recommend Snazaroo - Jerry's Artarama in Raleigh has it on sale now. http://search.jerrysartarama.com/search?keywords=znazaroo+face+painting
