I heard something early this a.m. on one of the TV stations about an accident on Pierce Rd. in which a person lost their life. Have not heard anything since then about this. Any news?
Per WRAL: "...Another early-morning wreck claimed the life of a Fuquay-Varina teen. Candace McKinley Klohr, 18, was westbound on Pierce Road in Johnston County when she lost control on a curve, according to the Highway Patrol. Her car hit an embankment and flipped over. Carl Lane Jr., 20, a passenger in the car, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment."
Directions to Pierce Rd.: If you are on Cleveland Rd. coming from the new West View Elem. school going towards Hwy. 42, at the stoplight next to CVS go straight across 42 and turn left just past that restaurant and used car lot (this place was always called "Old Drug Store") and this is Pierce Rd. This road goes by a large mobile home park in that area on the left and ends up at Hwy. 50.
