Bump! Nobody sells figs in Johnston County? Does anyone know? Thanks! Does anyone know locally where I can find a peck of fresh figs, other than the NC State Farmer's Market? My mom loves fig preserves but with her heart, she really is not able to make them anymore. I would like to surprise her and make them for her. Thanks so much!

Sorry my crop this year will come to approximately 8 figs, I will probably end up eating them this weekend because I will forget to go to the grocery store until Hanna gets here! 8)
Fig preserves If you don't mind waiting until next week, I can probably have you a couple of pints ready to pick up and eat and you won't even have to make them.
You are so generous! I really appreciate the offer but I've already purchased the jars and I "borrowed" my mom's canner to prevent her from overdoing it. She thinks she is coming here to help me make pickles sometime. I put up pickles for the first time by myself last week. It wasn't as difficult as I thought ,just a lot of steps.
