Area fire departments responded to a fire at 536 Woods Road in Smithfield.
No one was injured at the home of Billy and Brenda Braswell, who have lived there for 31 years. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but Brenda Braswell said that it may have stemmed from an electric heater malfunction.

The Braswell's lost everything they had in the fire. Donations can be dropped of at the Pine Level Fire Department.

Maybe some of the people out here who read this can help out this family as they also did mine recently. When the roads improve tomorrow, my wife will be going to the Pine Level Fire Department to drop off a monetary donation and we have some items we can offer this family. If anyone out here can help this family out, please bless them with any help if possible. Thank God no one was hurt. I do not know these people but I have been where they are and it is emotionally and financially draining. :grouphug:
