Saturday evening, friends as well as our neighbor, the Otero's home was destroyed in a fire. Luckily the family members got out, but 2 animals did perish. They have lost completely everything. This is a great idea. Cash is low arouind our house, but I wondered if they could use household items or other things... I routinely fill a couple of bags of bedding, linens, cookware, Tupperware, etc for Goodwill or Basic Needs. Any idea if they could use those things? And if so, bed sizes, clothing sizes, etc? Or if they'd rather buy new, I can understand...
Also, I don't know these folks, but I think their dad cuts my son's hair up at Cleveland Cuts in Peddler's Village on 42. Is that the same family?
