    I saw a ton of smoke in the Garner area tonight, maybe around New Bethel Rd? Anyone know about it, I can't find it online anywhere.

    the smoke was JET BLACK... we saw it from 42 near the Cracker Barrel

    ??????????

    It was just a very large control burn.

    Of? ---usually leaves don't burn black. :confused:

    Could have been wet stumps. Normally the local developers/farmers will burn right before or during a rain event, which is the smart thing to do.
