    Hello,
I live in Clayton, and looking to take me boys fishing for the first time. Anyone know where I could try? I have tried, by myself, a few years ago in the Neuse River, off Poole Rd... I was looking for more of a lake type setting, but would also try another river area if someone knows of a hot spot. Really don't care what we catch, mostly looking for some fun with my boys and to take some pictures of the catch N release!..LOL....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

On Cornwallis road, there's a place called Langdon's Pond.

I think it's $2 a person or something small like that. He has several ponds to fish out of.

How do you get in contact with these people?

Just drive by there. There's a little box on a pole where you put your $$$. I've heard of people catching some pretty good fish out there, but I have never had any luck. Its worth it just to sit out there and relax tho. Take a few apples and feed the horses while you go.

there is also Massengil Pond, off Old Fairground Road (in the giant curve). Its a great place to go with kids. You can go to the little store across the street (campbell's) to pay. I think its a couple of bucks.
