Flea advice

Apparently this is a really bad year for fleas and I have recently found that I have them in my house. I have a cat and I have since put her on frontline but I have to get them out of the house. I've called a few exterminators but I think I've decided to take care of the problem myself. I was wondering if anyone can suggest the best spray/powder/bomb, etc. to get rid of fleas and eggs inside and outside the house. Thanks!!!!

 

did you look in the dog/cat thread? I think there's a thread there with some suggestions.

 

Use borax it works great. I used it by advice of 4042 and no more fleas. Good luck

I read through all the of the old flea posts and it looks like most people suggest Borax so that's probably what I'll go with for inside. I'm not sure if that can be used outside too so I thought about going to Lowes and buying a jug of outside stuff to spray around the treas and grass where my cat likes to lay and also around the foundation and crawl space.

This may sound wierd but I had some Borax left so I sprinkled it on my hedges, because they had wasps in them, I have no more wasps in my hedges. I told you it was going to sound strange. By the way it didn't damage my hedges.

 

Okay, I'll just use it outside as well.
