I had been coveting one for a while and DH got me one for my B-Day. Yay DH!! (I don't mind kitchen stuff for presents, I LOVE kitchen gadgets). Anyway, what all do you use yours for? Obviously the usual slicing and dicing, but what else? Anybody got anything unique they do with thiers?:allears:
I'm so jealous. I want a food processor. One good thing my mom uses it for is to make slaw. She also makes really good dips (for appetizers) in hers. I think it's great for lots of stuff!!!
I like to grind hazelnuts,almonds,etc.in mine.I also use it to shred potatoes for potato pancakes,carrots for carrot salad and cabbage foe coleslaw.I also use it to make certain doughs in it, as well as streusel crumb topping. You can use it to make homemade mayonnaise. Puree berries and puree cooked vegetables for creamier soups.
