Yes, admiring our NFL record 6 Super Bowl Trophies. However, though I am a Steeler fan, and watched them implode last week, I do have to say that I hate the new OT rules....NOT because the Steelers lost, but because it takes the duel out of the game. They created these rules modeled after College and High school so that it would make it more competitive. Here's what I would do if I could control it to make it competitive.

Tied at end of 4th, going to OT

Coin Toss decides who gets ball and endzones just like at start of game.

Team who elects to go first starts at the 40 yard line (60 yds away from their scoring endzone) No Kickoff needed, sit the kickers since they're pointless now anyways. You get the chance to charge down the field and score, either way you want, TD or FG. Then, possession changes and we go the other way. Keep going till someone wins.
However, if at any time during the defense scores either a safety (and that's a long shot) or a touchdown, game is over. Everyone shakes hands and goes home.

None of this if you score a field goal the other team gets a shot, but if you score a td, game is over. That doesn't make it an equal opportunity. But figuring that most kickers can score from the 40 yd line, only having to travel 20 yds to score a winning field goal, it makes you earn that first down, and the chance to score.

    Anyone like my proposal?

    From another forum.

God asks Aaron Rodgers: “What do you believe?” Rodgers says, “I believe in hard work and in staying true to family and friends.” God can’t help but see the goodness of Rodgers and offers him a seat to His left.

Then God turns to Tim Tebow and says, “What do you believe?” Tebow says, “I believe in Your total goodness, love and generosity and that You have given all to mankind.” God is greatly moved by Tebow’s eloquence, and offers him a seat to His right.

Finally, God turns to Tom Brady: “And you, Tom, what do you believe?”
Tom replies, “I believe you’re in my seat.”
