http://www.cnn.com/2008/TRAVEL/01/11/airline.food/index.html 5 things airlines won't tell you about their food For those who fly frequently...or are planning a trip, here is some interesting information regarding airline food. It's not gross or anything...we all know that airline food tastes awful. One I found helpful, was #5..."'There's a secret menu -- and it's better.'"
Unfortunately, even though I usually always ride in first class, it is always upgrades. That means no special meal.
I bet if you were really sweet to the flight attendant you could at least get an extra bag of pretzels, Hught.
I flew on a charter plane last week to Mexico, and the meal on the way there was actually very, very good. They had an option of chicken or manicotti, and I got the manicotti. It was so good, I couldn't believe it. And on the flight back they gave us a big turkey & cheese sandwich, which was pretty good too. I felt lucky to have such good food, I haven't gotten a meal on a regular plane in probably 5 years.
