LOVE Hummingbirds!!! I have a red koozie, most of you have seen it. I was sitting out back last summer and had one come up as I was taking a sip of beer, bout scared me to DEATH! Wasn't expecting him/her to get THAT close to me. :lol:
The first time I "saw" a humming birds I was wearing a red shirt. I guess he thought I was a big red flower. I thought he was a big BEE! I swatted at it for my life! LOL I missed it though. He came at me three times then someone told me it was a bird. It didn't make it any better. I don't wear that shirt to the this persons house any more. They have 3 or 4 feeders surrounding their deck.
