Just thought I would pass this along! We stayed at a very dog friendly hotel over the weekend. Wow, was it great!!! The staff was sooooooo friendly, the hotel was super clean and they just had a little bit of everything! Great place to bring a family too! The 3rd floor of the hotel has a "lounge" with a huge 50 inch tv, pool table, ping pong table, LOTS of couches/chairs (its a huge room), a bar for your use (no alcholol, but it looks like you can serve food/drinks, etc), a game table, lots of little tables to play board games, books, DVDs (in the lobby to check out), board games, and more! They have a really nice outdoor pool, volleyball net on the beach AND they provide beach chairs! (I think there's a beach attendent during the summer). It is ocean front as well. Its a family run hotel, they are #1 on Tripadvisor for Atlantic Beach and the location is great! Very close to Beaufort/Morehead City. Anyway, we loved this hotel so much, we might go back this weekend, lol. (It was great!) Atlantis Lodge in Atlantic Beach. They also only charge $15 per pet per night which is nice. Thats the feeling I got too. Very nice group of folks, its nice to stay in a dog friendly hotel, and not get dirty looks for bringing a dog.
