We're located in White Oak Plantation off Guy Road. We had a dog sleeping on our porch this morning when we got up. He's got brown and black markings and white star on chest, maybe a mix of australian shepard and shepard...husky fella. He's about knee high. He doesn't have a collar on. He's very friendly and frisky, but it's obvious he's lost his way. Please, if you recognize him, contact me via PM. Please see the classified section because I am not able to attach a picture of him here. Pet section Ad #179785.

    Thanks

Yes, me too...he hasn't budged from our porch. I won't be able to keep him very long.

I thought this dog found his way home, but he came out of hiding when I was taking my dog for a walk and attacked my dog. He has been friendly otherwise. Who do I call? I don't want him in my car, or otherwise, I'd take him to animal shelter in Smithfield. Does the sheriff's dept. deal with this?

I have had no choice but to call Johnston County Animal Control. If this dog is yours, please call the shelter at 919-934-8474. I didn't want to do this, but he was super aggressive towards my dog. Around children and adults, he was very loving. It's ashame, I hope he finds his owners.
