I have no idea what to make of that fountain at Cleveland road and 42. It's ok but nothing great. I am really not to sure what it is of.
I suppose the man who owns it was trying to add some class to the property but it may be a bit over the top for our area.

How long before it is up and working and someone adds Mr. Bubble to it?

Can we throw pennies in it and called it the Cleveland Wish Fountain?

If the buikding and fountain were set back on a large estate it would be more appropriate. Still looks nice, great? Not quite the fountains of Rome.

There is TOO much in that small area! He should have stopped MANY trees/plants/etc ago to keep it elegant and classy. Now it just looks like a jungle.

I think it looks like the fountains in Chicago. Okay, I've never been to Chicago, but if I had.....I think the fountains would like the ONE in Cleveland.

It's different. Kind of a nice touch for Butt Ugly, NC.

actually uhm... there are 3 of them exactly alike. 1 in front, and 1 on each side of the building... lol.

They look a little like miniatures of a fountain in downtown Orleans, France, that some GIs referred to somewhat irreverently as "Joanie on the Pony." (Jeanne d'Arc on horseback was incorporated into the fountain design.)

I asked my grandson if he thought the whole complex looked a little bit incongruous next to the lumber yard and behind the Waffle House. He said, "No. It doesn't look a little bit incongruous."

The only fountains I can think of are the ones at that new office behind CVS. Is this where you all are talking about? :?

If these are the ones, they are okay. :? They are not for the town but for the office there right?

I came home about 1:00 am last night and for some reason that place just stood out like a sore thumb.

Maybe cause it was darker than normal in the area and it was lit up like mama's house at Christmas.

I still like the fountain. Actually, I must drive too fast to notice the other 2. I'll have to check them out.

well... they dont require too much checking out, take the one out front, clone it twice, and put those on either side of the building.

It might be nice if it was all spaced out better with a bit more greenery. i forgot about the fountains on the sides.....
It didn't look bad last night lit up.
Trying to attract the prom/ball/ and fancy wedding crowd, I guess

It looks WAY out of place!! The whole place looks like it needs to be somewhere else. I'm with you all there is too much in that one little space. Dr. Lane is going over board!!!!!

Here is a picture of Buckingham Fountain in Chicago in Grant Park on Lake Michigan.
