    Anyway, I already donated. Just $25.00 and all I got was a sticker (that was a joke) but I really did donate.

    Thank you for your donation. We are just getting started here in Johnston County and hope to offer the community much more then a sticker.

    Recently we paid to have the headstones of two public safety officers killed in the line of duty replaced after vandals went to Sunset Memorial Park and destroyed them. Last week we joined the family of Deputy Paul West and held a memorial service to rededicated his grave site.

    Why would anyone expect to get anything for a donation, isn't that kinda defeating the whole purpose of donating?

    I think that was a joke. You know... 'I climbed Mt. Everest and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.'

    Yeah i know, that is why i don't understand why they really do send you things when you donate such as the stickers we get every year. To me, a donation is something you give without expecting something in return.

    It was a joke. danm. I didn't expect anything in return. They just sent it.
